As a Sales Operations Coordinator, you’ll support daily sales operations across your assigned region, following established processes to ensure efficiency and top-tier service. Your role will focus on driving sales activities while fostering teamwork and strong relationships with both internal teams and trade partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): Ensure all sales activities are aligned with Qatar Airways’ global sales standards, providing consistent service.
- Lead Sales Operations Tasks: Oversee key functions like Reservations, Ticketing, Trade and Corporate Account Support, Sales Systems, Group Sales, and Sales Administration.
- Effective Communication with Partners: Keep external trade partners updated on campaigns, policy changes, and fare revisions.
- Database Management: Maintain an updated database of regional trade partners, and provide regular performance reports to your line manager and regional teams.
- Mentor Junior Team Members: Support and guide team members in delivering high-quality service.
- Sales Operations Coverage: Handle all activities, including Refunds, Corporate Account Support, and Galaxy tool maintenance.
- Report Generation: Produce and share monthly performance reports for relevant markets.
- Customer Profile Management: Keep customer profiles updated in Galaxy.
- Upload Contracts: Manage PLB and corporate contracts in Galaxy.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Education & Experience: High School diploma or equivalent, plus a minimum of 3 years in fields like Reservations, Ticketing, Sales Support, or Business Analysis.
- Language Skills: Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Relationship-Building Skills: Able to foster positive relationships with team members and partners.
- Industry Knowledge: Good understanding of airline operations, especially Pricing/Distribution systems and industry tools like Amadeus or GDS.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Efficiency-focused with a problem-solving mindset.
- Team Leadership Skills: Strong mentoring abilities, promoting a cooperative work environment.
