Principal Responsibilities and Activities
Driving income for the lodge is the one main duty of the Lodge Manager. The manager has to create a Business Plan and a defined Annual Budget if he is to reach this.
Developing a strong marketing plan that highlights the resort to possible guests is a major responsibility of the position. This entails keeping active in the travel sector and applying several strategies to increase visitor count.
Additionally attentively watched by the manager will be the income and expenses of the lodge. The Annual Budget will act as a reference to guarantee that financial objectives are satisfied. The manager must oversee daily lodge operations, ensuring that everything is finished on schedule and within budget, quality standards, and scope.
Still another important duty of the Lodge Manager is asset management. Effective use of assets guarantees the lodge makes good income.
The manager also has responsibility for maintaining the technical systems and infrastructure of the resort, therefore guaranteeing flawless operation.
Apart from national laws and regulations, the Lodge Manager will also keep an eye on and implement lodge policies. This covers working in line with tourism grading criteria and Human Resources.
