Regarding Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).

Requirements
- Learning
- Needs a valid Class D driving licence and basic literacy abilities.
Experience:
- Two years or more of driving experience minimum.
- One benefits from experience with 4x4 cars.
- Previous work with MSF or another NGO helps.
- Language: English and Swahili must be fluently spoken.
- Bonus is knowing Kirundi or French.
Objective of the Job:
Managing and running cars inside assigned regions will fall to the driver. Among the duties are providing effective and safe transportation for staff and goods as well as adhering to local traffic rules and MSF security policies.
Important Authorities
Daily inspections on vehicle basics including tires, fuel, oil, brakes, radio equipment, and other required components help to ensure their conditions. As advised by MSF, finish a weekly inspection. If necessary, keep the car clean and pass it off correctly to the following driver.
Drive sensibly; respect speed limits; follow traffic and security rules; make sure every passenger is safe. Share with travellers MSF's security policies and guarantee compliance.
Before beginning their journeys, make sure every passenger has required travel documentation. Before getting aboard the vehicle, non-MSF travellers had to sign a waiver.
Guarantee of safe loading and unloading of products Give the receiving party finished paperwork, then verify that every item matches the documentation.
Documentation Management: Make sure the vehicle has all required documentation, including your licence and the paperwork for the car, kept current and kept in the vehicle.
Notify your supervisor right away should there be any problem during passenger or products transportation.
Radio communication codes and protocols of MSF should be known and applied. While driving to guarantee safety, report your location and any issues.
Security Compliance: Learn about customs, checkpoint, and roadblock security procedures. Tell travellers about these policies to guarantee adherence.
