In general
Established under Tanzania Coffee Industry Act No. 23 of 2001 (modified in 2009), the Tanzania Coffee Board is a government entity in charge of supervising the coffee sector. The Board of Mbozi Coffee Curing Company Limited is kindly welcoming applications from qualified and experienced Tanzanian nationals to cover an immediate post for General Manager.
credentials and knowledge
- Education: Master's degree in mechanical engineering, processing engineering, electrical engineering, economics, law, business administration, or related credentials.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years in a senior management post, at least 4 years in management of the coffee sector.

- Managing, organising, and planning all activities within Mbozi Coffee Curing Company will depend much on you, General Manager.
Here is a closer view of the duties:
- Overall Management: Guarantee efficient control and supervision of all corporate activity.
Lead and oversee development projects. - Create policy suggestions for the Board that affect the financial as well as the physical state of the business.
Apply policies defined by the Board and draft internal rules. - Draft yearly budgets and send them to Board review.
- Compare actual performance against targets and budgets; then, provide results to the Board together with
- practical advice.
- Team leadership entails assigning tasks to immediate subordinates and properly distributing power.
Advise the Board on personnel requirements and apply human resource rules for good team management. - Make sure the business complies with all national laws and rules.
- Industry Relations: Represent the main link between the business and other coffee sector stakeholders.
- Final Authority: Present as the corporate final decision-maker.
- Financial Oversight: Protect the company's assets by approving transactions following set procedures.
- Maintaining a strong internal control system for financial transactions will help.
- Four months following the conclusion of the fiscal year, make sure corporate accounts are ready and forwarded to outside auditors.
- Stakeholder Relations: Develop good rapport with consumers, coffee cooperative unions, and other important participants in the sector.
- Organising and supervising Board meetings, the Board Secretary represents the Board of Directors.
- Take on whatever other chore the Board of Directors assigns.
Terms of Service
This position is offered as a three-year contract depending on performance, renewable.
