Job Overview

This role will have you visiting customers, helping them understand NMB Bank's offerings, and strengthening existing relationships.

  • Zanzibar Cluster

Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire New Customers: Reach out to potential customers through referrals, appointments, or even door-to-door visits in your designated area.
  • Open New Bank Accounts: Assist new customers with the account-opening process and ensure they meet all Know Your Customer (KYC) standards.
  • Promote Self-Service Channels: Introduce customers to NMB mkononi and other self-service channels, guiding them on how to use these tools.
  • Sales Goals: Meet or exceed the set sales targets weekly, monthly, and yearly.
  • Product Cross-Selling: Maximize customer relationships by recommending other NMB Bank products and services.
  • Campaign Participation: Be part of NMB Bank’s promotional campaigns, special projects, and events to attract more customers.
  • Build Lasting Relationships: Follow up with existing customers regularly, encouraging repeat business.
  • Support Marketing Strategies: Help identify marketing and pricing approaches that can strengthen our customer base.
  • Secure Tools and Materials: Keep all working tools and marketing materials organized and safe.
  • Stay Updated on Sales Techniques: Continuously improve your sales skills, product knowledge, and ensure you’re giving customers accurate information.

  • Product Knowledge: Good understanding of NMB Bank’s services and products.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in fields like Business Administration, Banking, Insurance & Risk Management, Marketing, or a similar field.
  • Additional Certification: Certificate of Proficiency in Insurance is an added advantage.
